Sean Swain is an anarchist from a town outside of Detroit called “Anchorville” that no longer exists. He has been in prison without legal conviction or sentence since 1991 for a murder charge, the self-defense killing of an abusive ex of his then-girlfriend who had broken into his house and threatened his life. Because the man was a relative of a court official, the self-defense portion didn’t save Sean from the murder charge.
Sean is active in breaking the control prison imposes upon its captives and inspiring to everyone.
